How long have you been at Demi & Cooper?
Since October '05.
If you could have a super power what would it be?
To read people's minds, and to fly. I think that it is a tie between the two.
What is your favorite meal? Be specific.
I just like food in general, I have too many favorites to just pick one...but one of my favorite meals is 10 Medium Hot Wings from Hooters with curly fries and a pitcher of Sangria. Yum!
What kind of music do you listen to?
I listen to a lot of different music, some pop music, some R&B music...but I would have to say that my favorite type of music is probably rock, esp. classic rock music.
What is something in life to live by?
I try to live my life by making sure that I am taking advantage of every opportunity that arises. I don't want to regret not doing something that I should have done when I had the chance.
What is your current fashion style?
I try to stay in style, however, these new styles that they are coming out with recently (straight legged pants or socks with sandals and leggings) are just ridiculous and I refuse to have any part of that. So I guess I just kinda wear whatever I can find in the store that doesn't make me look like a pirate.
What is your favorite piece of technology you own?
Ooo, that is a hard question. I have a lot of toys. I would have to say that it is probably my gameboy if I had to pick one. It just offers me so many hours of entertainment...but my iPods come in at a close second.
What is your all-time favorite TV show?
Dawson's Creek
What is your all-time favorite movie and give a quote from it?
Fight Club. "It's only after you've lost everything, that you're free to do anything."
If you didn't live in Chicago, where would you want to live and why?
If it was actually possible, I would live in Italy because I love it there...Probably on the Island of Capri....because it is gorgeous and not too far from the Napoli so I could take my boat in and get some fabulous Italian pizza whenever I felt like it.
What is your hidden talent no one knows about?
I can make my face look like a monkey, I don't do it for just anyone though because it tends to freak people out. I try to keep that to myself...
You're given one wish, what do you wish for?
To never get sick or injured ever again. I swear if I am not sick, I have a scab somewhere or something is swollen. I can never win.
If someone wrote an autobiography about your life so far, what would be the title?
Not That Different.

What was your worst job you've worked at and why?
Well, although Steak and Shake was pretty bad, I am going to have to say that over all the WORST job by far was probably when I worked as a Beer Cart Girl on the golf course last summer. You see, there were some shady people running this place, a lot of times I had to beg them for my paycheck or I got yelled at for no reason. I also used to hate it because a lot of creepy people golfed there and would try to give me hugs and put money in my back pocket. So, in order to avoid all of this, I used to spend most of my time chasing geese around the golf course with my cart instead of working. Which at any normal place I wouldn't have done, but when you go into work every day not knowing if you are going to have a job, or if you are going to get paid you just stop really caring.
What is your favorite web site you've worked on at Demi & Cooper?
The Arbors at Barrington. I really like the way that their Virtual Tours came out.
What's one thing that you have in your office that best describes you?
My cool lamp that my best friend bought me for Christmas (that Jim makes fun of). I love different kinds of lights! They are so much fun!
If you hadn't chosen to be in the web site business, what is one job you would really like to be doing?
Art Therapy. I really loved Psychology in school and to be able to incorporate both of the things that I love into one job would have been awesome!
Do you have any pets? If yes, what is it? If no, why not?
I have a goldfish named Martin. He is like a super goldfish because he has been alive for over a year now, just simply by living in a bowl with some tap water in it. He used to have a plant in there too, but it died.
If you could eat dinner with three people and going back in time is possible, who would you want at your dinner table and what would you make for dinner?
I would invite my three grandparents that I didn't really know. My one grandma lived until I was in high school, however my mom's dad died when she was younger so I never met him at all and my two other grandparents died when I was about 2 or 3. So, I would invite all of them over to get to know them and since I am half Italian and have Polish, I would make some Perogi and some sort of pasta so that everyone was pleased.
What is your favorite kind of icecream?
Oooo that's a hard one. I love ice cream of any kind, but I really like Mint Chocolate Chip and/or the peanut butter milkshakes (which are so thick they are like ice cream) from Al's.
Do or did you ever have a nickname? If yes, what is it?
Oh gez, I have a million nicknames. I will just name the ones that I can think of right now. Although, I have to say that I really am not fond of any of these. My dad calls me Beads. My mom calls me Deedles or Deeds. My sisters call me Dee. My cousins call me Deedee. My aunt calls me BooBoo Ann. I guess that the moral of the story is that there is no easy way to come up with a nickname for the name Deanne. It's never going to be a good one.
Out of all of the programs you use in the web site business, which is your favorite?
I really love doing all of the commercials, so I guess After Effects would be my favorite, even though it isn't a web program.
If you had to invent something that is not already invented and technology wasn't an issue, what would that be?
I am having a hard time with this one because I feel like they have already come out with anything I could ever want. I honestly have no idea which could be why I am a web designer and not an inventor.
What is something you think you can't live without?
Clothes, cause then I would have to walk around naked all the time and I would get arrested....so I really wouldn't be going very far in life. I feel like they are the first step to success. Haha.
Which restaurants in Elgin do you most frequent?
The burrito place. I always forget the name of it, but it is the place where they make their own tortillas and if you don't like them the guy who makes them will never make another tortilla ever again.
What is the last book you've read?
I don't really read very much, I like to spend my free time drawing, painting, or doing my scrapbook instead. So, I guess maybe it was a cookbook or I think the last time I can remember ever reading a book it was the "He's Just Not That Into You" book but I don't even think that I made it through that. I stick to magazines when I read anything at all and usually it is Self.
What is your favorite season of the year and why?
SUMMER! Because Number 1.....I am ALWAYS cold......and Number 2 I can go on the boat or in the pool! Two of my favorite things!!
If you just hit it big and became famous, what would be your first big purchase?
A plane....and then an island. Just like Jimmy Buffett. Ha ha.
