Linnea Petrillo

How long have you been at Demi & Cooper?
Since October 2005.

If you could have a super power what would it be?
I'd want to be psychic, so I could read people's minds. I'd really like to fly if I wasn't a wimp when it comes to heights.

What is your favorite meal? Be specific.
A large Papa John's thin crust pizza, just cheese. I can eat the whole thing in one sitting.

Just about everything, but by far I listen to the most Hip-Hop and Alternative rock.

What is something in life to live by?
If you don't take a chance you'll never get anywhere.

What is your current fashion style?
Comfort, convenience and fun. When I shop I tend to pick clothes by how comfortable they are, I can't stand scratchy wooly clothes no matter how good they look. I own far too many "design-y" t-shirts from web sites like Threadless. I also tend to avoid things that require too much work to wash, laundry is by far the most boring and mundane household task.

What is your favorite piece of technology you own?
It's cliche but I'd have to say my iPod. Not only can I carry around nearly my entire library of music but the weight of my bag was cut in half when I no longer had to carry around my cd's and batteries on the train.

Boy Meets World

Denver, It's still urban and I would be able to snowboard on something other than a hill or landfill.

What is your hidden talent no one knows about?
I'm horrible at keeping secrets, I guess one thing not many people know is that I partake in the old lady hobby of cross-stitching.

You're given one wish, what do you wish for?
No more traffic -- ever.

If someone wrote an autobiography about your life so far, what would be the title?
Not weird. Gifted.

What is your favorite kind of chips?
Well they're not really chips but I loved those planters cheese balls that came in a can, sadly they do not make them anymore, can you believe that? *sigh*

What was your worst job you've worked at and why?
I think I've had it pretty good as far as jobs go, but when I worked as a bartender at the Flyers stadium I found out first hand why people don't eat the food from places they've worked at.

What is your favorite web site you've worked on at Demi & Cooper?
The DC Interactive site, standards compliant eye candy.

What's one thing that you have in your office that best describes you?
My "Mr. Happy". Its a solar powered figurine that always has a smile on its face and who's head bobs back and fourth when the light is on.

If you hadn't chosen to be in the web site business, what is one job you would really like to be doing?
Designing cereal boxes, especially the games and puzzles on the back.

Do you have any pets? If yes, what is it? If no, why not?
Not right now. I used to have a dog and two ferrets, I hope to be adopting a ferret soon.

If you could eat dinner with three people and going back in time is possible, who would you want at your dinner table and what would you make for dinner?
I'm a big kid at heart, I'd want to have dinner with the people responsible for some of my fondest childhood memories. Shigeru Miyamoto (the Nintendo mastermind that created Mario among many others), Walt Disney and Steve Jobs. I'd make my Grandma's spaghettii and meatballs, nobody can resist Grandma's homemade sauce and meatballs.

What is your favorite kind of icecream?
Banana!, yeah I know it's a weird flavor but it tastes really good. Second in line is the ever popular cookie-dough.

Do or did you ever have a nickname? If yes, what is it?
Too many to list. The one that has stuck around is L-Dawg, I have no idea why.

Out of all of the programs you use in the web site business, which is your favorite?
Even with all the crashes Flash is my favorite by far.

If you had to invent something that is not already invented and technology wasn't an issue, what would that be?
I'd totally invent a virtual reality video game system for the home, complete with a dorky looking helmet and everything.

What is something you think you can't live without?
Besides the obvious family and food it would have to be my car. Some weeks I spend more time in my car than I do at home.

Which restaurants in Elgin do you most frequent?
It's not really a "restaurant" but Subway is my favorite place to grab lunch. After that would be Akina's because they have the tastiest mini-egg rolls.

What is the last book you've read?
The Tipping Point

What is your favorite season of the year and why?
Fall, because the weather is finally cool enough that you can be outside all day and not feel like a melting ice cube.

A plane ticket to Argentina to start a many month long trip to every continent in the world.
